Discover the story behind Always Love Pottery and the passion that drives every handcrafted piece
My love affair with clay began over a decade ago in a small community center pottery class. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a calling that would reshape my entire life.
After years of learning from master potters and experimenting with different techniques, I established my studio in the heart of Waterbury, Vermont, surrounded by the natural beauty that continues to inspire every piece I create.
As an earth sign, I find deep connection in working with clay—transforming raw earth into functional art that brings joy to everyday moments.
Every piece I create is designed to be both beautiful and functional. I believe that art should enhance daily life, not just sit on a shelf.
Vermont's changing seasons, rolling hills, and natural textures influence my color choices, forms, and glazing techniques.
I source local clay when possible and use eco-friendly glazes, ensuring my craft honors the earth that provides my materials.
Each piece carries the unique marks of being handmade—slight variations that make every item one-of-a-kind.
Every piece begins on the wheel, where I center the clay and let its natural properties guide the form.
Through gentle pressure and patience, I coax the clay into functional forms that feel good in your hands.
After careful drying and bisque firing, I apply glazes inspired by Vermont's natural palette.
Whether you're looking for a special piece for your home or interested in commissioning custom work, I'd love to hear from you.
